A brief background in physics and math allows me to be a little quicker on the uptake when sitting in a roomful of engineers discussing the general principles of fluid theory and flow control. It comes in handy when writing brochures like this one, which deep-dives into the soft underbelly of a continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) process found in oil and gas refineries, where many Metso Automation products are used.
